In the development of thousands of years of history and civilization in China,"blessing" has always been the spiritual sustenance of the people.The ancients made characters and paid attention to a vivid image.The early writing of Fu was a syssemantograph,and a scene of painting two "hands" holding a wine bottle and offering sacrifices in front of the shrine of his ancestors.The purpose of sacrifice is to obtain the blessing of the ancestors.Therefore,the Eastern Han Dynasty Xu Shen’s Word Power Made Easy says: Fu means blessing.The Book of Rites says: Fu has the meaning of being smooth and everything goes well.Han Fei,a native of the warring States period,said: the wealth of one’s whole life is called blessing.It can be said that in China,the word "Fu" is not only rich in food and clothing,but also rich and prosperous,which not only contains harmony and happiness,but also contains the peace of the whole country.No word can express the strong desire and dream of Chinese people for a happy life like the word "Fu".This paper is mainly an in-depth study of the Chinese traditional "Fu" word image from ancient times to the present.First,it examines the evolution process from the origin of the "Fu" word image to different periods,and then analyzes it according to different carrier forms,including the presentation of three-dimensional,plane,relief and other forms,and then the font evolution form structure.Finally,it explores the application and development of the "Fu" word image in modern design.This paper will explore the word "Fu" with the image and development process of the word "Fu" and then combined with modern design.
