Application And Development Research Of Li Jin Pattern In Chinese Character Font Design

Chinese characters and Li brocade patterns are both excellent traditional cultural carriers of the Chinese nation.The Li ethnic group has no written language,and the Li brocade patterns are like written language,recording the history and past of the Li ethnic group.As the crystallization of the wisdom of the working people of the Li ethnic group,the Li brocade patterns reflect the unique religious beliefs,cultural ideas,and aesthetic ideals of the Li ethnic group,and play an irreplaceable role in the inheritance and development of ethnic culture.Under the trend of promoting cultural revival in the country,the Li brocade pattern,as an excellent traditional culture and intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities,is of great significance.Therefore,it is imperative to conduct research on the patterns of Li brocade and promote the inheritance and development of Li brocade culture.The development of Chinese characters to this day has formed a standardized and rigorous structural relationship,as well as a systematic font system for characters.At the same time,with the further improvement of public aesthetics,the pursuit of Chinese character styling is no longer satisfied with simple recognition and standardization,and there is an urgent need for it to showcase deeper cultural and ideological connotations,promoting the development of Chinese characters towards diversification.In the context of the development of information globalization,designers are increasingly paying attention to reflecting and inheriting unique ethnic culture in font design,and are also paying more attention to the localization and ethnicization of Chinese font design.Firstly,by conducting in-depth research on the Li ethnic brocade patterns,an overview is given of the origin and development of patterns,weaving techniques,and types of patterns;Secondly,an overview of the origin and evolution of Chinese characters is provided to provide a research background for the topic;Once again,explore the commonalities between Li brocade patterns and Chinese characters,and explain the value of integrating Li brocade patterns into Chinese character font design to increase the feasibility of research;Furthermore,relevant design strategies are summarized based on case studies to provide design principles and methodological support for subsequent design practices;Finally,in response to the needs of each design stage,the Li brocade patterns were measured,summarized,and analyzed.Based on the analysis results,the Li brocade patterns were integrated into the design of Chinese character fonts,and development and design were completed on this basis.Provide new carriers and ideas for the inheritance and development of Li Jin culture,form font design techniques that belong to Li Jin patterns,and provide more possibilities and case references for the current Chinese character font design.
