Research On The Tendency Of Dematerialization In Public Art Creation

The concept of "immaterial",in francois liotta’ s "immaterial",is more inclined to the influence and function of science and technology on human thought,cognition and spirit.Just as matter is the supplement required by the subject which controls it for its own special purpose,so is"immaterial",which,in its paradoxical sense,means a substance(whether"barbaric" or not)that is no longer the object of a plan;For man,it reveals a decomposition comparable to the decomposition of itself.Of course,the antithesis of immaterial to material is self-evident.The traditional art with materialized existence has a long history,until the emergence of post-modern art and contemporary art,began to change people’s inherent concept of the way of art presentation.Contemporary modern public art,which is contemporary with post-modern art,has experienced the initial stage of physical presentation such as strokes,sculptures and installations,and a large number of public artworks are presented in the form of "dematerialization" of images,interactions,sound effects and lighting.The connotation and extension of art are gradually expanded,while the research on the trend of "dematerialization" in public art tries to analyze the relationship between public art and contemporary art as well as the creative methods from a new perspective.
