| This article focuses on the late Qing Dynasty painting theorist and painter Bin Yong and his critical work Tongyin On Painting,and studies his characteristics and appreciation of paintings.The author combines traditional painting evaluation theory with two aspects of his painting works and painting style,analyzes the value and significance of Qin Zuyong’s painting theory,enriches the research content of Qin Zuyong,and enriches the overall understanding of late Qing Dynasty paintings.Qin Zuyong wrote many highly regarded books,including Tongyin On Painting,Tongyin’s Painting Tips,and The Heart of Painting.He mastered the "Four Kings" in landscape painting,and there are more than 50 paintings in existence.Based on his rich experience in painting creation and appreciation of collections,he evaluated the 360 artists and paintings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties with the eyes of a connoisseur.He used "Da Jia" and "Ming Jia" to distinguish the artist’s realm,and used "Yi","Shen","Miao","Neng" to distinguish between the painter’s styles.He put forward the unique opinions on painting evaluation,broke the traditional painting pattern of three and four grades,and enriched the painting content in the late Qing Dynasty. |
