Based on the historical and cultural background of the early Qing Dynasty,this article intends to show the different living conditions of novelists in the early Qing Dynasty.The thesis puts these authors in a specific historical context,using the principles and methods of thoughts meet the scope and comparative research,to make an in-depth analysis of representatives of the elite scholars,the commercial writers,and the intelligentsia at the bottom.Reveal the writing mentality of different creative groups,present the novelist's spiritual style and world in a specific era,and try to explain their inner logical relationship between the living condition,writing mentality and text creation.The thesis consists of the following:The introduction mainly discusses the reason for choosing the topic and the current research status.Based on the overall consideration of the creative development of novels in the early Qing Dynasty,this article puts forward the ideas and methods for selecting the topic.After that,review the research status of novels in the early Qing Dynasty,and summarize the research situation of writers,works,cultural and literary backgrounds.The first chapter mainly discusses the living conditions of novelists in the early Qing Dynasty.According to the life choices of these writers in the face of the imperial examination system,the novelist groups in the early Qing Dynasty were positioned and divided into three groups: elite scholars who entered the officialdom,writers who abandoned the imperial examinations,and intelligentsia struggling at the bottom of the imperial examination.Taking Wang Shizhen,Li Yu and Pu Songling,the representatives of writers from all walks of life,as their cases,they describe their life experiences and comprehensively show the living conditions of various novelists.The second chapter mainly discusses the writing mentality of novelists in the early Qing Dynasty.Through an in-depth analysis and comparative study of the writing mentality of different creative groups,the overall spirit of novelists in the early Qing Dynasty was restored.Generally speaking,under the influence of the background of the times,identity,and living conditions,the writing mentality of novelists in the early Qing Dynasty was complex,diverse and fluid.Specifically,elite scholars have both a flaunting knowledge and a sense of recreation and persuasion.The commercial writers have the main purpose of pursuing profit maximization,and their business consciousness and entertainmentism are very prominent.The intelligentsia at the bottom mainly reflected the evasion of reality and the fantasy mentality of love.In particular,Pu Songling,a representative figure,has demonstrated the writing mentality of a generation of scholars with the characteristics of immortality,anger,and self-appreciation.The third chapter mainly discusses the textual presentation of novelists in the early Qing Dynasty.Combining the specific texts of different creative groups,this paper analyzes the reflection of the living conditions and writing mentality of various novelists in literary works,and summarizes the different creative characteristics and literary world of different novelists.The group of elite scholars represented by Wang Shizhen mainly focuses on the anecdotes of the court and the folk,the lives of officials traveling and reading notes.The group of commercial writers represented by Li Yu pays attention to family ethics and other topics,creates best-selling books that satisfy the market and citizens,and demonstrates an interesting and entertaining aesthetic orientation.And the intelligentsia at the bottom represented by Pu Songling,while participating in the imperial examinations,make a living.Their creation has become a spiritual sustenance in a poverty-stricken life,and its content mainly involves social reality,the imperial examination system,and marriage with a different kind.The conclusion is mainly about the main features of novels in the early Qing Dynasty and its status in the history of literature.Based on the discussion in the above chapters,the main features and development laws of novels in the early Qing Dynasty were explored,and their status and role in the history of literature were introduced.The novels in the early Qing Dynasty inherited and developed the literature of the late Ming Dynasty,and inspired and guided the Qing Dynasty literature,showing their unique value in the history of literature.
