Mexico's art and culture are rich and colorful,and famous artists emerge from endlessly.They express Mexico's history and culture with a variety of arts,including panting.Mexico is also a big country of American native culture.It has a splendid civilization created by the ancient Indigenous people,and is the birthplace of Mayan and Aztec culture.In the course of its historical development,Mexico has merged Indigenous and European cultures into one,forming its own unique national cultures;such as poetry,painting and language.Among them,Mexican poetry,which are based on cultural history,are very representative.At the same time,I have been studying in China for four years.I'm very interested in traditional Chinese culture,such as landscape painting and calligraphy.In the course of my study,I have also carried out the use of brushes and related courses of landscape painting and calligraphy.I found that Chinese calligraphy art contains profound culture,therefore,Chinese calligraphy is very helpful to creative works.Through the transcreation of a poem from a Mexican author,understanding the cultural background of Mexican culture and matching the corresponding paintings,this study designs a collection of some poems using Chinese calligraphy as a source of inspiration,combining traditional Chinese culture.This paper studies the production and works of Mexican modern art in the early 20th century,one of the most proficient ten years.During this decade,some artists,such as Leopoldo Mendez,focused on sculpture illustrations and other prints,where he captured many Mexican cultural elements and created various works featuring his political and social activism,his most influential works and works.For example,the Artists Revolutionary Alliance(Spanish:LEAR;Alliance of Revolutionary Writers and Artists)and the Tall Grafica Population(Spanish:People's Graphics Workshop).At the same time,the author studied in China for four years and was very interested in Chinese landscape painting.There are many inspirations and plot sources in landscape painting,which is very helpful to the creation of works.Therefore,based on the paintings of Mexican artist Leopold Mendes and Chinese landscape paintings,this study reviews the works of Leopold Mendes with the aim of using chinese brush and calligraphy as a source of inspiration and combining elements of Chinese culture,such as black-and-white pairs of traditional Chinese ink and wash paintings.This paper introduces some samples of Mexican artists'works and some examples of the application of Chinese traditional ink and wash paintings in design.The purpose is to mix cultural elements of Chinese and Mexican culture.
