The Use Of Pingtan Music Elements In The Erhu Work "Taohuawu"

Erhu's work "Taohuawu" is a representative work created by Li Yuanqing,a young musician.The music is based on a five-tone pattern,and incorporates elements of Suzhou Pingtan into the work.It is created by Sanxian and Lute accompaniment in Pingtan music.In Erhu's works,there are relatively few works that incorporate the elements of Pingtan music.As an expressive national instrument whose timbre is close to human voice,its performance can also shape the music image while reflecting the unique charm of Pingtan.This article briefly summarizes the development of history,artistic characteristics and main genres of Pingtan music,from the perspective of research and performance,discusses the specific application of elements of Pingtan music in "Taohuawu",and analyzes the style of performance by erhu in "Taohuawu" from its characteristics,combined with the experience of playing to analyze this work in detail.
