Research On Chinese Translation Of Japanese Negative Expressions

Negation is a very important grammatical form in language as opposed to affirmative form.So far,the studies on Japanese negative expression have focused on the comparison of Japanese and Chinese negative expressions,negative words(negative words in Chinese,and “nai” in Japanese,etc.)and Japanese-Chinese negative translation.However,there are relatively few studies on the translation of negative expressions from Japanese to Chinese in combination with theories and specific examples.Based on this,the author will make use of theory of Nida's Theory of functional equivalence to study the Chinese translation method of Japanese negative expression in the light of the various situations of negative expression and combined with specific examples.This paper is divided into four parts.In the first chapter,the characteristics of Japanese negative expression are analyzed.The second chapter analyzes the relationship between functional equivalence theory and Japanese negative expression.Firstly,it explains the core of Nida's translation theory-functional equivalence theory,and points out the important guiding significance of this theory for this thesis.Then the negative expression is analyzed from the perspective of translation theory.The third chapter mainly analyzes the Japanese negative expression and its Chinese translation through the blue space library and the specific examples in the original Japanese works.First of all,the analysis of Japanese explicit negative word that is helpful to the study of sentence pattern.Secondly,it analyzes the negative expression in Japanese from the level of negative sentence pattern in Japanese,which mainly analyzes the double negative sentence,the negative question sentence and the Japanese negative expression in the traditional sentence.In this chapter,through the use of corpus or Japanese original,translation of specific examples in teaching materials to analyze and study.The fourth chapter analyzes the features of Chinese translation of Japanese negative expression from the aspects of word order and pragmatics.Finally,the author will make some findings in the study of Japanese negative expression according to the previous analysis.
