| Nangong County is located in the southeastern part of Hebei Province. Its dialect belongs to the Xingtai,Hengshui part of Jilu Mandarin.According to the different pronunciations of "zhu, ehu, shu’,Nonggong dialect is divided into three parts:Chencun,Chengguan and Duanlutou. There are differences in the pronunciation of Chencun,Chengguan and Duanlutou in the Chinese characters of the Sharp and Round sounds, the ancient initial-groups of zhizhuangzhang and the ancient initial of ri.In the past studies, most of them had only investigated some towns and villages in Nangong County about the pronunciation of Sharp and Round sounds, the ancient initial-groups of zhizhuangzhang and the ancient initial of ri,except the "General Profile of Hebei Dialect" and "Nangong County Annals" in the end of 1950s and in the early 1990s.And this time from the above two relatively comprehensive investigations of the Nangong dialect for at least 30 years, during the Nangong dialect internal sounds has also changed more or less.So we need to investigate the internal voice differences, and compare with the previous surveys,we can observe the characteristics and the process of the phonetic changes of Nangong dialect in the past decades. This paper consists of six parts. The first chapter introduces the historical geography, population and dialect of Nangong City, and explains the research status, significance, methods and dialect survey requirements of Nangong dialect. The second chapter describes the phonological and phonetic features of Chencun,Chengguan and Duanlutou. The third chapter describes the types of sounds and the differences between olders and youngers, and then compares them with the surrounding dialects and the previous investigations of the Nangong dialects, analyzes the reasons for internal differences.Combined with previous survey materials,we briefly explain the evolution of the sharp and rounded sounds. The fourth chapter describes the present pronunciation about the ancient initial-groups of zhizhuangzhang in Chencun,Chengguan and Duanlutou, analyzes the specific pronunciations of the small pieces are compare from the perspective of rhyme and other aspects, compares the current pronunciation with the past pronunciation. The fifth chapter classifies and describes the pronunciation of the ancient initial of ri in Nangong dialect, and compares them with the surrounding dialects. The conclusion part summarizes the contents of the above chapters. There are two main conclusions. The first is the evolution of the three types of initials in Chencun,Chengguan and Duanlutou is unbalanced.According to their evolution rate,Chencun is the slowest and Duanlutou is the fastest,Chengguan is between Chencun and Duanlutou, but it also has its own characteristics. The second is from the pronunciations of the three types of initials, the internal sounds of the ancient initial-groups of zhizhuangzhang are the fastest, the ancient initial of ri are the slowest, the Sharp and Round sounds is between the ancient initial-groups of zhizhuangzhang and the ancient initial of ri.There are differences in the sounds of Nangong dialect, and the reasons are related to their respective localities and economic development.Although the Mandarin has been widely promoted, the sounds of Nangong dialect will not immediately become the same as Mandarin.According to the pronunciation of the initial consonants, the first change will still be the ancient initial-groups of zhizhuangzhang, followed by the Sharp and Round sounds, and finally is the ancient initial of ri. |
