Research On The Development Of Contemporary R&B In China

R&B,known as rhythmic grudges or rhythmic blues,originated in the 1940 s and was first popular in the United States.Today,R&B presents a variety of musical features and diverse musical styles,and continues to expand to the world.Since the introduction of R&B into China,R&B in China has been developing with its own characteristics,injecting fresh blood and new profits into modern Chinese pop music.The integration of R&B and Chinese elements has made more people understand R&B as a musical style and Chinese traditional culture.This paper studies the development of contemporary R&B in China.Firstly,it analyses the definition and source of R&B,understands the connotation and development process of R&B music style,combs the main types of R&B music style,and lays a foundation for later research.Then it analyses the current development of R&B in China.On the one hand,it analyses the influence of R&B on Chinese pop music style and singing.On the other hand,it analyses the typical Chinese R&B musicians and their works,explores the peculiarities of Chinese R&B music style,and summarizes the main style characteristics of Chinese R&B music.Finally,the significance of R&B development in China and its future development prospects are analyzed in order to provide reference for the relevant research and practice of R&B music in China.
