Murals are one of the most representative art in Chinese traditional art.The murals, which were left over thousands of years ago,are important carriers for us to study history and explore the past. With open, confident and inclusive minds, chieftains Mu and the Naxi people are good at learning and absorbing various ethnic cultures.Prosperous scenes of multi-ethnic integration and common development of ethnic groups have been created in Lijiang, the borderland of southwest. And Baisha murals were reflected by the prosperity that have integrated many other ethnic cultures such as Han,Tibetan and Naxi cultures. With the development of the times, except erosion of diseases,Baisha murals are also facing crisis in reality such as being forgotten by the world and poor preservation conditions. The author combines digital technology with the protection of Baisha murals by using digital acquisition, digital processing and digital preservation. In addition, from the perspective of multi-implenmenter,the author tries to analyze the effect of social forces such as the government, protection units, enterprises, universities, and individuals, thereby improving pluralistic development of Baisha murals.Redefining the protection method of murals,it not only can help Baisha murals break through the limits of traditional space and time for permanent preservation, but also initially alleviate the contradiction between cultural relic protection and tourism development. In order to achieve better dissemination and publicity of Baisha murals, digital mural resource libraries and online digital tourism platforms have been set up.The author hopes to raise peoples’ awareness and understanding of Baisha murals and respond to the call of "cultural heritage comes alive" proposed by General Secretary Xi.
