Research On "Jangger" In Altai

This study compares the Jangar of Turkic language speakers from Republic of Altai in Russian Federation with the Jangar of Mongolian-Turkic language speakers from Xinjiang,Kalmyk,Mongolia,Buryatia and Tuva through three different perspectives such as story structure,traits of characters and the motif,so as to find out the relation between Altaic Jangar and Jangar from other regions.At the same time,it also tries to respond the opinions by some scholars respectively "Jangar is unique to the Mongols" or "Jangar is the creation of Werat".This study is composed of four parts:introduction,main body,conclusion and bibliography.And the main body includes following three chapters.In the first chapter,the story structure of Altaic Jangar is compared with Jangar from other regions in three categories such as warfare,marriage and other stories.And Altaic Jangaris compared with Jangar from Xinjiang,Kalmyk,Mongolia,Tuva and Buriyat.The first section proves the story type of Jangar.Then,by comparing Altaic Jangar with Jangar from other regions,it reached to a conclusion as follows.There is a high degree of similarity between the structure of the plot of Altaic Jangar and Jangar from other regions.Therefore,there is a close relation between Altaic Jangar and the tradition of Turkic Jangar from other regions.At the same time,both retain the uniqueness of different places.In the second chapter,the motif of Altai Jangar is divided into the warfare,marriage and motif of other three stories,and compared with Jangar from Xinjiang,Kalmyk,Mongolia,Buryatia,and Tuva in categories of its commonness and characteristics.Research shows that Altai’s Jangar and Jangar from other regions has more commonality than characteristics.At the same time,it explains the characteristics of Altaic Jangar and Jangar of other regions homologous flow,as well as due to social history,language and culture,regional environment and other factors,all over the preservation of relatively unique characteristics.In the third chapter,after counting the characters appeared in Altaic Jangar,it is divided into three realms like characters of the upper,middle and lower,and then expounds the characters in Altai’s Jangar.After that,according to the character characteristics of Altai Jangar divided into holy gods,decent characters and villains,and compared with Xinjiang,Kalmyk,Mongolia,Buryatia,Tuva and other places,Jangar figures came to the conclusion that the same characters are in the majority,while different figures are in the minority.It shows that the Mongolian Turkic language Jangar is a homologous heterogeneous flow,which has both commonness and individuality.In the summary part,based on the analysis of the above three chapters,has the Turkic language Jangar tradition of the Russian Federation Altai Republic Jangar and Mongolian Jangar in the story structure,character image and motif and so on have a lot of commonalities.Therefore,the Turkic language and the Mongolian Jangar have the same origin,but also has a unique personality.Thus it is proved that the Jangar is not unique to the Mongols or unique epic of Wei,but is widely circulated among the people who speak Turkic and Mongolian throughout the Eurasian continent.
