Research On The Application Of Localized Design Of Chinese Adult Picture Books

With the rapid development of today's society,people's living speed is constantly accelerating.Because of the busy life,people are more willing to choose books with more pictures to read,and also have visual enjoyment while acquiring knowledge faster.Under this reading trend,the sales and demand for adult picture books have increased year by year.In terms of quality and quantity,the adult picture books on the book market in China have a certain gap compared with the picture books of countries such as Europe and America.Through investigation and research,it is found that the adult picture books on the current Chinese book market have the problem of lack of local characteristics.This article first outlines the concept,development history of adult picture books,and the current status of domestic adult picture books.Secondly,it analyzes the essence and connotation of the authors of today's adult picture books,and draws on the aesthetic principles of traditional Chinese painting to find and discuss the design methods of adult picture books from three aspects: painting style,art form of composition and visual-verbal relation.Finally,the research theories and methods are applied to the localized design practice of adult picture books.
