This paper studies the application of film works in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Cultural teaching and language skills teaching in listening course,the combination of listening material for film,designed to compensate for traditional type of cultural teaching is single,monotonous teaching content,teaching means students problems such as difficult to mobilize enthusiasm,improve the students' listening ability,and expects to have a positive significance for existing culture teaching.The cultural teaching studied in this paper refers to the cultural teaching combined with language teaching in class.Through the investigation and interview of 180 foreign students,and the overall study of the current TCSL culture teaching classroom,the author found the problems and disadvantages in the current culture teaching,as well as the advantages and feasibility of applying film works in the culture teaching classroom,so as to solve the deficiencies in the culture teaching in a targeted way.This paper takes the movie "song of the phoenix" as an example to design the teaching plan,and applies the "performance culture teaching method" to present rich cultural knowledge in the listening class,so that students can master relevant cultural knowledge while improving their listening ability.Practice has proved that making full use of the advantages of film works can improve the teaching effect and produce positive effects.
