There Is A Phoenix Instrumen

Chu culture originates from same root with Chinese culture, bearing deep culture heritage and aesthetic value. Recently in China the research in regional culture keeps on heating up. In this article we will try to research in the phoenix pattern in Chu culture with relative literature, unearthed historical relics and under historical background of Chu and then further learn the essence of Chu culture so that the weakness in regional culture research will be improved.This article could be divided into four parts. First part is the overview of Chu culture where Chu’s brilliant culture of eight hundred years will be introduced. I will firstly brief the history of Chu and then introduce bronze,lacquer ware,silk embroidery and Chu witchcraft culture respectively. At last I will summarize the aesthetic standards and mind of Chu people reflected in these stuffs.In the second part, I mainly focused on the Phoenix patterns in Chu culture. I compared phoenix patterns of different Chu periods through examples. Also, the characteristics of appearance and the decipline of transformation have been concluded.In the third part, I researched the influence of Chu culture as well as the phoenix pattern in a long time hence. I illustrated how the element of chu culture affect the modern design and architecture profoundly by giving multiple instances. In the fourth part of the thesis I introduced the other graduation design which is on the theme of ’a phoenix comes with grace to rest’.The objective of this thesis is to make readers comprehend a little bit about the intension of Chu culture and appreciate the beauty of phoenix in Chu culture. also I think these are quatable for modern design and above all, the innovation spirit of Chu people is really worth leaning.
