Research On The Prose Characteristics Of "Lunheng"

Wang chong's book “Lun Heng”,written in the early eastern han dynasty.At that time,literary form and literary style were in transition,which influenced Wang Chong: At literary form,cifu was facing an important period of ups and downs turn.cifu's influence on the prose has not yet subsided,on the one hand,is still popular in the prose creation to assign method for grammar,on the other hand,writers learn from the prose of pre-qin period,in order to seek new ways out."Lun Heng" is so: it not only absorbed the experience of cifu's creation,which showing the characteristics of using double sentences in prose ms of literary style;but also inherited the style of pre-qin prose,appears simple and profound thought.At literary style,it was a transitional period from mild to indignant: in the early eastern han dynasty,neo-confucian is prevail,prose is gentle.This was perfected in the eastern han dynasty,but also gave birth to change: the style of writing at the end of han dynasty became intense.Wang Chong retained that gentle quality,and showed his intense emotion--the two were converging.From the perspective of classical prose,people summarize the characteristics of “Lun Heng” said that the discussion and the logic is rigorous,the sebtence pattern is neat,the style is plain.But they ignore the opposite thinking is also characteristic of this book.This paper combines wang chong's life,literary thoughts and the creative gist of the theory of balance,puts “Lun Heng” in the development history of prose,and discusses the causes of its unique prose style.From the structural characteristics,debating art and literary aesthetics of “Lun Heng”,to study the opposite thinking reflected in the layout,image building,skill application,word choice and sentence.Analyzes the style under the influence of this kind of thinking,and discuss the aesthetic tendency and influence on prose of the two Han dynasties to the six dynasties.
