The purport of Wang Chong writing Lun Heng is "Critique the Falsehood".According to the "Fact" and the logical argument,it reveals the "Falsehood" in a large number of examples. The literature that can be collected at present shows that the research on the informal fallacy exposed and refuted in Lun Heng is more concentrated in the domestic academic circles, but the research on the informal fallacies caused in the process of "Critique the Falsehood" is seldom studied.Different from the traditional fallacy theory, modern fallacy theory has made many breakthroughs in the classification and grouping of fallacies. The informal fallacies proposed by Patrick J.Hurley in A Concise Introduction to Logic is one of the main representatives of modern fallacy.According to its grouping and classification methods analyzes the informal fallacies caused in the process of "Critique the Falsehood",through sorting and classifying,it is found that four groups of informal fallacies, such as fallacies of relevance, fallacies of weak induction, fallacies of presumption and fallacies of grammatical analogy, have been caused in the process of "Critique the Falsehood".This paper is specifically centered around four groups of informal fallacies caused in the process of "Critique the Falsehood":The first chapter mainly studies three kinds of fallacies of relevance, which focuses on the fallacies of missing the point, and simple analysis of the fallacy of argument against the person and the fallacy of accident; The second chapter studies five kinds of fallacies of weak induction, which focuses on the fallacies of hasty generalization, the fallacies of false cause, the fallacies of slippery slope and the fallacies of weak analogy, and simple analysis of the fallacy of appeal to ignorance; The third chapter focuses on the two kind fallacies of presumption, which is the fallacies of begging the question and the fallacies of suppressed evidence. The fourth chapter briefly analyzes the fallacy of division in the fallacies of grammatical analogy. The analysis of the informal fallacies caused in the process of "Critique the Falsehood" provides a new angle of view for the research of Lun Heng, broadens the research field and promotes the omnidirectional research of Lun Heng.It is also helpful to restore the truth of Wang Chong's logical argumentation and to correctly judge the logic errors of its own,and at the same time,it has some enlightening and referential significance for the research of other classical related topics.
