| The study of any language is inseparable from the study of vocabulary,and the current primary Chinese textbooks are mainly explained and translated in English,using the "direct translation method" and other interpretation methods.Due to the great differences between Chinese and English language systems,thinking patterns and historical and culture,we should pay attention to the rationality and accuracy in the interpretation of Chinese textbooks for foreign students.In the process of foreign teaching;we should also pay attention to the supplement of the places where the translation is insufficient in teaching progress.This paper selects all the vocabulary annotations in <Boya Chinese Elementary> I II as the research object,and summarizes the English interpretation of 1434 vocabulary words in the textbooks.It concludes that the two books adopt the interpretation methods such as "literary translation method",the "covering method","synonymous mutual reference method","morpheme analysis method" and "grammatical function description method".At the same time,according to the specific content of the new words after each class,the interpretation method is supplemented on this paper.Then this paper classifies and explains the problems in the interpretation of the new words in the textbook,and explores the reasons,and proposes corresponding correction suggestions for the interpretation of the new words,and tries to explore how to make up for the lack of English interpretation of the new words.At last this paper proposes some specific teaching strategies from the perspective of the teacher. |
