Successful classroom management can improve the quality of classroom teaching.The study of classroom management deepens the reform of the education,promotes students’ lifelong development.However,because of many reasons,teachers are lacking of knowledge and practice guidance about how to carry out classroom management in English class effectively.Studying the current classroom management and analysis the existing problems and put forward the measures are great importance.More and moreeducators realize that picture books reading can cultivate children’s English reading interest andability,and its value in English reading teaching practice.This paper takes picture books reading classroom teaching as an example and by means of literature research,questionnaire survey,observation method,this paper mainlydiscusses the problems about English teaching management in LuoPu street Panyu district’s primaryschool English classroom management from four points: environment management,classroom teaching,discipline management and evaluation system.Through questionnaires and observation of LuoPu street Panyu district’s primaryschools,we found that problems as follow: Most of teachers are lack of training of classroom management.English teachers can not understand the environment management very well.Teaching methods of picture books readingare not scientific.The picture books reading class discipline is difficult to manage.Assessment systemis monotonous.After analyzing the cause of the problem,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the management of English picture books in primary schools.We should strengthen the construction of the physical environment in the classroom of primary English picture books teaching,and attach importance to the construction of students ’psychological environment.In the aspect of teaching management,excavating the emotional elements of picture books for emotional infiltration and integrating multiple intelligence theory to teach picture books from multiple dimensions.In the aspect of behavior management,teachers and students participate in the formulation of English classroom regulations and strengthen positive behaviors to reduce students ’problem behaviors.In the evaluation management,teachers should insist on positive and positive classroom evaluation and encourage individualized classroom evaluation. |
