The Singing And Artistic Style Of "The Benevolent God" By Stradella

During the Baroque period from 1600 to 1750,a large number of excellent vocal works were created.Baroque originally refers to irregular pearls.It is an art form.Because of the popularity of this art style,it is called Baroque period.The music produced in this period is called Baroque music.These vocal music works break the shackles in content and reflect the glory of humanism.The music works of this period reflect a large number of love themes such as sadness,longing,happy memories and so on.They have great influence on music in Europe and even the whole world.The Gods of Mercy is a religious aria created by the Italian composer Alexandro Stradra in this period,which has a strong religious color.Stradeira has written more than 200 cantatas for religious festivals.His works are fluent and graceful in melody,which is a model of the American vocal school.This paper chooses one of the representative works of Stradeira,The Gods of Mercy,as the object of discussion and research.Starting from Stradeira's creative background and experience,this paper studies the singing and artistic style of Stradeira's Gods of Mercy.The reason why I chose this work as the research object of my graduation thesis is that learning this religious aria can help me get a solid sound foundation and promote the singer's breath training.With the deepening of learning,I have a certain understanding of the composer's style,including the expression of inner feelings,decorative tones and songs.The mastery of melody,the clarity and dexterity of sound,the control of strength and rhythm.Therefore,through the study and analysis of this work,I hope to improve my theory and analysis work.In this paper,three chapters are discussed.The main contents are as follows:First,the background and brief description of the creation of The Goddess of Mercy.Baroque Europe was a period of transition from feudalism to capitalism.During this period,not only opera occupied an important position,but also developed excellent vocal music works especially suitable for popular singing.2.Analytical work The Gods of Mercy.The Gods of Mercy is a religious song written by Stradra.The Prelude imitates the sound of the church organ and is very solemn.3.The Style and Technical Grasp of The Goddess of Mercy.In addition to religious themes,the vocal music works of Baroque period also reflect many love themes such as sadness,missing,happy memories,abandoned pain and so on.Therefore,in order to express these contents,singers are required to be delicate,relaxed and sweet in singing,to achieve this singing style,which is closely related to natural and relaxed voice.
