A Preliminary Study On The Tombs Of The Eastern Han Dynasty And The Six Dynasties In Yangzhou Area | | Posted on:2020-03-12 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:B D Zhou | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2435330578478779 | Subject:Archaeology of Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Since the establishment of the Republic of China,thousands tomb of Han Dynasty have been discovered in Yangzhou,and the archaeology of Han tombs has become a key research field in this region.In addition,Yangzhou has also excavated a certain number of tombs of the Six Dynasties,nearly 30 have been published.Taking the tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Six Dynasties in Yangzhou as the research object,this paper attempts to reveal the basic features of the tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Six Dynasties in Yangzhou after clarifying the relevant concepts and analyzing the burial forms,burial objects,stages,and the cultural factors.In terms of the burial structure,there were two kinds of tombs in the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Six Dynasties in Yangzhou,including the tomb of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the tomb of the brick chamber.The latter is mainly for the Six Dynasties tombs,a small number of Eastern Han tombs.Based on the analysis of the types of funerary vessels,this paper mainly selects glazed pot,porcelain pot,glazed pot,porcelain pot(including pot which neck like a trumpet,pan pot and chicken-head pot),pottery plate and pottery basin,then summarizes their general characteristics and evolution rules.Based on the typological research,this paper divided the tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Six Dynasties into six periods:the first period is from the late Western Han Dynasty to the early Eastern Han Dynasty.The second phase is the middle Eastern Han Dynasty,the shapes and system of the tomb have been more mature,with the structure of central plains of the early Eastern Han Dynasty in the middle of the front hall after the bedroom,the tomb wall through the phenomenon disappeared;The third stage is the late Eastern Han Dynasty,which has many burial factors in the central plains.The fourth period is the period of Sun Wu and the Western Jin Dynasty.There were only three small western Jin tombs in the former,and only one room tomb with corridors in the latter.The fifth period Is the Eastern Jin Dynasty.The shape and structure of tombs were unified.The sixth period is the Southern Dynasties,which can be divided into the former part(the late Eastern Jin Dynasty to the early Liu Song Dynasty)and the later part(the Xiao Liang Period).The former part of the tomb is quite like the late Eastern Jin Dynasty,but from the perspective of unearthed artifacts,it has certain factors of the Southern Dynasty.The latter part of the tomb has obvious Liang Dynasty factors,judging from the unearthed artifacts in the period of Emperor of Liang wu.The Eastern Han Dynasty tomb in Yangzhou absorbed the tomb culture in the central plains with Luoyang as the center,which had a certain hysteresis and formed its own characteristics at the same time.Compared with Nanjing,the Six Dynasties tombs in Yangzhou have greater synchronicity and are deeply influenced by the burial culture in Nanjing.It is found that the formation of regional cultural characteristics of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Six Dynasties in Yangzhou is closely related to its special geographical location,political environment and social and demographic environment.This chapter re-examines the rank of the Han tombs of Ganquan No.1 and No.2 and the identity of the tomb owner,and thinks that tombs of Ganquan No.1 and Ganquan No.2 are the tomb of feudal princes with corridors,and Gan quan No.2 tomb should be the tomb of Liu Jingzi and Liu Yuanshou;Gan quan No.1 tomb should be the tomb of Liu Jing. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Yangzhou, Eastern Han Dynasty, Six Dynasties, Ganquan tomb No.1, Ganquan tomb No.2 | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
