At the end of the 19th century,after the development of the romanticism,the 20th century composers of the 20th century were bold and innovative,exploring new means and new ideas,and the new romanticism was born.Samuel Barber,unique style of music,leading the trends of new romantic.He put some modern music creation technique,combined with the tradition romanticism music techniques,and pay attention to the expression of personal feelings,influence,and promote the development of 20th century new romanticism music genre.The piano suite " Excursions" Op.20,was created in 1994.It's the only new attempt of the music style of nationalism,which is also a representative work.In the creation of this work,Barber breaks through the traditional methods of creation and joins the American folk elements.The whole work has a strong feature of American jazz music.The whole text divided into three parts.The first part is a brief overview of the life of barber and the creation of music.The second work is to analyze the rhythm of the rhythm in the piano suite and analyze the characteristics of the rhythm.The third part is on the basis of the second part,on the piano suite "Excursions" Op.20 in the beat rhythm representation of music source were analyzed,and find the characteristic of beat rhythm,and the corresponding passages are playing tips and analysis.Through the rhythm and rhythm characteristics of piano suite "Excursions" Op.20,and the analysis of piano playing,experience barber roots tradition and absorbing the 20th century music language characteristic lyrical new romantic music style,so people can have some understanding of the performance of this work.In addition,there is some reference and help for the performance of some music music works in the 20th century.
