Different individuals will adopt different coping styles when faced with question situations.As an important factor that influences psychological health,coping styles will have an effect on peer relationships which is an important element of interpersonal relationship.It is self-evident of the importance for psychological health as a key period of junior school.While the researches on junior school students' psychological health before pay too much attention to their mental problems correction and treatment,while it should deserve much attention of the positive psychological quality as the power of motivating personal self power.The research brings in positive psychological quality which is a variable to explore the influences on peer relationships,and analyze the intermediate influence on the coping styles and peer relationships.This research extracts 291 students in a junior high school in JiNing city by questionnaire survey,and uses SPSS17.0 and AMOS21.0 to do data statistic analysis.The results indicated that:(1)Junior school students' coping style has no significant difference in gender.But the differences in grade are significant which included the oriented dimension problems of endurance,avoidance,abreaction and fantasy denied.The students' score of grade one is lower than scores of grade two on the above four factors,and shows significant differences;it shows significant differences between grade one and grade three on two factors of avoidance and fantasy denied;there are no significant differences between grade two and grade three on the above four factors.(2)On peer relationships,junior school students have no significant difference in gender and grade factors.And it is in the upper middle stage of the assosiation situation of peering relationship for junior students,which has a big difference among individuals,there is a better peering relationship between male and female.(3)In five dimensions of junior students' positive psychological quality,they have no significant gender difference,but confidence of positive psychological quality has significant difference in grade.It is higher of students' confidence score in grade one than students' of grade two,which is significant.While not between grade one and grade three,grade two and grade three.(4)When it comes to the average score of the emotion-pointing coping style,it is negatively related to the peer relationship,and the average score of the problem-pointing coping styles is significantly and positively related to the peer relationship.The emotional orientation dimension of junior school students correlates to the peer relationships.As for the problem-pointing coping styles,the average score of them is significantly and positively related to the peer relationship.The average score of the emotion-pointing coping styles has negative relationship with the peerrelationship.The positive psychological quality of junior school students is significantly and positively related to the peer relationship.(5)Junior school students' positive psychological quality has played a mediating role between coping styles and peer relationships.While it plays a mediating role between emotion coping and peer relationships,with the value of-0.13,the direct effect value is-0.25 of emotion coping to peer relationships,with the proportion of 33.59%;positive psychological quality has played a partial mediating role between question pointing and peer relationships,with the value of 0.143 and the direct effect of 0.197,the ratio of mediating effect to the total effect is 42.06%.On the basis of this research,in order to improve peer relationship of junior students and promote the development of their psychological health,this paper puts forward some methods to improve the coping styles,and positive psychology quality of junior students.
