A Brief Textual Research On "Xiaozhilu"

Xiao Zhi Lu is an influential medium-sized encyclopedia after the middle period of the Qing Dynasty.It was compiled by the editor Lu Fengzao,and was praised by Qian Daxin as " Arranged and the evidence is appropriate" The book has 12 volumes,which was completed in Jiaqing.Lu Fengzao collected rare things or synonyms from the literature of the pre-Qin and Qianlong Jiaqing years,and compiled a total of 2821 entries.It is not easy to compile it with one's own strength.Xiao Zhi Lu has reference value for today's examination of items,the study of ancient social politics and culture,and the development of geography.The book is based on classes and is divided into thirty-eight categories.At the same time,it is also an encyclopedia that collects aliases.It has the same effect as Yu Tingbi's Shi Wu Yi Ming and Li Quan's Shi Wu Yi Ming Lu.It sets up an entry with an alias and an alias under the entry and breaks through the tradition of encyclopedia statement only and not creation,interprets the alias one by one.Although Taiwan's Xinxing Bookstore and Shanghai Classics Publishing House had preliminary arrangements for Xiao zhi lu,there is no systematic research on Xiao zhi lu.The earliest quoted material from Xiao Zhi Lu is Gu Lu's Qing Jia Lu,and Liang Zhangju's Chen Wei Lu also has a large number of references to the book.Han Yu Da Ci Dian and Gu Han Yu Tong Shi Yi Ming Ci Dian also referred to Xiao Zhi Lu when editing,which shows that it is indeed unique.However,people have only stayed at the stage of citation and have not thoroughly studied it.This article is divided into the following four parts:The first part: looking for Lu Fengzao's birth and death years and his friends,and sketching his general trajectory.Explain the title of "Xiao Zhi Lu" and combine the entries in the book to restore Lu Fengzao's thoughts.The second part: combing the version of "Xiao Zhi Lu" is circulated,comparing the similarities and differences of the versions.Explain the style of "Xiao Zhi Lu".The third part: mining the value of "Xiao Zhi Lu" from the perspective of alias and folk custom.The fourth part: Analyze the inspiration of the most distinctive female divisions of Xiaozhilu and the different advanced concepts revealed in the past.Comment on the characteristics of the Qing Dynasty era reflected in some of the entries.Finally,the shortcomings of "Xiao Zhi Lu" are pointed out,which makes it easier to use the book in the future.
