With the deduction of modern art, modern art in China presents a variety of characteristics. In the field of painting,a variety of ideas and schools of thought have emerged.Abstraction has a non-concrete shape and volume to construct a two-dimensional three-dimensional space that is not the same as people's daily habits, and is almost completely different from natural objects.Expressionism has the characteristics of exaggeration and deformation, making the work a reflection of the painter's spiritual world and emotions. In fact, both are completely in common here.As a prominent representative of Expressionism,Zhao Wuji created a picture with a sense of mystery and rhythm through the use of Western painting techniques. The sense of light in the picture is also particularly strong. This article explores Zhao's artistic background and style, and describes and reflects on the influence of Zhao's painting style on my oil painting. The article is divided into four parts. The first part introduces Zhao Wuji's growth experience and the establishment of personal painting style. The second part focuses on the two points of "empty spirituality" and "rhyme" in Zhao Wuji's picture. The third part summarizes the Oriental temperament in Zhao Wuji's picture and the difference between Zhao Wuji and Zhu Dequn's paintings in my eyes. The fourth part combs the things I learned in Mr.Zhao Wuji's picture, reflects on my own picture,as well as about the pre-creation style and my pursuit of the picture in the future.
