Jinzou officer are officials stationed in capital city from Mus'of Tang Dynasty military governor in mid and late Tang dynasty.It come from official of observation which was set up in the 10^th year of Tang dynasty.Their responsibilities are to connect central and local government and transmit order documents.Jinzou officer was just a low level officier position at the beginning of its setting up.But it was no longer an organization to communicate central and local government with the expanding of Tang Dynasty military governor system,which reflected in the changing of function ans status of Jin Zou Yuan.The expanding of power of Jinzou officer indicated strengthen of town and senior official behind it,which resulted in hostility between Tang Dynasty military governor and central government.It was also a demonstration of the limitations of the officials.During the whole mid and late Tang dynasty,Jinzou officer shared complicated relationship with senior official of Tang Dynasty military governor,they would make profit,inquire for information and make suggestions for seniors.They sharedg honor and disgrace,advanced and retreated together so it has very strong dependency between them.Therefor it was always occupied by supporters of senior official of Tang Dynasty military governor.On the other hand,they would also threaten seniors because they knew many secrets of them which would endanger seniors'interests.In the meantime,Jinzou officer could ease the relationship between the central government and Tang Dynasty military governor.As the intermediary group between them,they can effectively make concessions between the two sides and avoid strong conflicts,which is conducive to strengthening the centralization of power.Besides,the central government had made adjustment for several times since the position of Jinzou officier set up as to strengthen ruling and enhance management and control of local government.However,from the late Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties,the relationship between the central government and the local government became more and more intense,which made the development of Jinzou officer more abnormal.As a bridge linking the central and local governments,Jinzou officer'appearance can be said to be a special product of a special historical period.
