Althusser's Dialectic Research | | Posted on:2020-06-09 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Q Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2435330572479732 | Subject:Marxist philosophy | | Abstract/Summary: | | | Althusser’s interpretation of Marxist dialectics is unique in the theoretical circles.This paper breaks through the pattern of interpreting Althusser from the perspective of structuralism,and systematically explores the essence,significance and limitations of Althusser’s dialectics of overdetermination from the perspective of psychoanalytic theory.This paper holds that Althusser’s view of contradiction is deeply influenced by the theory of working mechanism of dreams and the theory of "unconsciousness" in Freud’s psychoanalytic theory,and Freud’s structure of "unconsciousness" is the intrinsic motivation of his dialectics.Althusser’s reinterpretation of Marxist dialectics is mainly accomplished by borrowing Freud’s psychoanalytic theory and transforming Hegel’s dialectics.It is undeniable that Althusser’s thought of dialectics made certain theoretical contributions in criticizing the humanitarianism and other ideologies at that time,but there were also many misunderstandings about Marx’s thought of "human".The main body of the paper is divided into three chapters: Chapter one discusses the historical context of Althusser’s dialectics,reveals its main purpose of reinterpreting Marxist philosophy and the origin of Althusser himself and psychoanalytic theory;Chapter two analyses the essence of Althusser’s dialectics and reveals the profound influence of Freud’s psychoanalytic theory on his view of contradiction;Chapter three discusses the theoretical innovation and limitations of Althusser’s dialectics. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Althusser, dialectics, "overdetermination", psychoanalysis, "unconsciousness" | | Related items |
