Research On Xugu's "Fish" Theme Flower And Bird Painting

The development of the theme of "fish" has undergone a long process from the paleolithic age to the present.Since the song dynasty,with the highly development of painting,"fish" has become a popular painting subject among the people and one of the subjects of traditional Chinese painting.In the middle of the 19 th century,the painting style of the Marine school was gradually tending to the folklore,and the painting creation was mostly subject to the aesthetic needs of the emerging citizen class.The painting themes and styles were mostly realistic and secular.This article by "Shanghai" outstanding painter XuGu "fish" genre painting as the breakthrough point,in the creation of "fish" theme,XuGu from realism to depict objective object emphatically on the artist’s thoughts and emotions,from realism to emphasize emphatically freehand brushwork in traditional Chinese painting,created the painting aesthetic temperament and interest and a new trend in the development of painting theory.This paper focuses on the painting features of the theme of "fish" in the valley.First of all,by analyzing the origin of fish images in the primitive period and the cultural connotation of the theme of "fish" in art works,this paper focuses on analyzing the development and characteristics of the theme of fish.Secondly,it analyzes the forming factors of the theme of "fish" in Flower and bird painting based on the historical background of Flower and bird painting and the reality of making a living by selling paintings.Again is a key part of this paper research,through the analysis of the modelling,the composition of fish XuGu pen,pen and ink color characteristics to analyze the XuGu "fish" theme painting art characteristics,and with different entourage of group and the analysis of the different meaning of the highlighted XuGu "fish" author’s theme of "more" to a "cultural phenomenon.The last part is to expound the artistic status of the theme of "fish" born in the valley in the late qing dynasty and its influence on later generations.
