With the continuous development of the social economy,the demand for sports has gradually increased.The sports art major is an emerging profession that has developed rapidly in recent years,and has received extensive attention from various universities.In the past ten years,sports art majors have been added to many sports and dance professional colleges as well as teachers and comprehensive colleges.Currently,the major includes sports dance,aerobics,rhythmic gymnastics,cheerleading,street dancing and yoga.However,most colleges and universities offer sports art majors for a short period of time and lack of experience,leading to many problems in teaching arrangements and teaching settings.However,the opening of the sports art major is inseparable from the teaching of music courses.The performance and creation of the drama can only be better represented by the cooperation of music.The teaching of music courses can not only help students master rhythm melody,memorize and coordinate body movements,but also help to develop thinking,project innovation and artistic creation,and then enhance the professional comprehensive quality.This paper mainly selects the sports art departments of Beijing University of Physical Education,Shandong Institute of Physical Education,Shandong Normal University,Qufu Normal University,Shenyang University and Xihua University as the survey and research objects.Through research methods such as literature data method,questionnaire survey method,comparative analysis method and expert interview method,the related content has been researched and analyzed.On this basis,it discusses the similarities and differences between the different types of colleges and universities’ sports music majors in terms of teaching arrangement,content setting and class schedule.Through the questionnaires of the sports art students of six different types of colleges and universities,after research and analysis,it is found that students in sports and teacher colleges recognize their own professions and the teaching of music courses in professional learning.Recognizance is higher,and students in dance and general universities are less recognized for their profession.In addition,through surveys and expert interviews,it is learned that the main factors affecting the teaching of music courses in sports art are four aspects: environment,venue facilities,teaching content and the teaching level of professional teachers.Finally,several improvements are proposed for the backward teaching of music majors in sports art: first,to enrich the teaching content of music courses;secondly,to expand the faculty of music courses;again,to strengthen music courses The construction of teaching materials;finally,to optimize the curriculum structure of music courses.Through the research of this paper,it can provide some reference and reference for the establishment of sports art majors to optimize their music curriculum teaching,and it is also the research focus of the combination of theory and practice.
