Emotion is an inherent psychological phenomenon of human beings. It is a spontaneous and human response to the outside world and can help humans better adapt and change the environment. With the increasing level of economic development and education, emotional, with its own complexity and high impact on people has become a hot topic in psychology.Emotions are easily influenced by many factors.Among them, external stimuli are an important influencing factor that can evoke emotions.Music,as an artistic expression,is itself an emotional expression and can affect people's emotional changes. There is a strong emotional stimulus to people. Therefore, the mood-induction of music has a considerable advantage.According to the existing results, the impact of music on emotion is generally higher, and the success rate of emotional evoked is stronger.According to Juslin's music cues consistency model, whether the communication between the music creator and the listener can be achieved depends on whether or not the listener's internal musical symbol representation is consistent with the creator's musical notation, and the music process includes the clues brought by the musical works themselves, the effects of the performance of the musical works, the characteristics of the listeners themselves and the background of the listening.Among them, the first two factors are the cue factors that directly induce music emotions, while the third and fourth aspects may have a direct impact on emotion induction. The interaction of these four factors directly presents the complexity of music emotion itself.Because the music itself is composed of many factors such as mode, melody, and rhythm, the speed, timbre, etc.of the works will change due to the different presentation methods, and the emotions will not be predictable due to the influence of individual differences and environmental differences. Therefore, starting from the compositional factors of music, this paper discusses whether the rhythm of one of the elements that constitutes music has an influence on people's emotions. At the same time,it discusses whether there are differences in the emotional effects of different rhythm patterns on individuals with different personality traits. The focus of this article on personality traits only selects the two dimensions of introversion and neuroticism in the three-dimensional personality of Eysenck. The reason is that individuals with these two dimensions of personality traits are more likely to trigger emotional reactions. This study includes a pre-experiment and two formal experiments.Pre-experiment was divided into experimental material screening and screening of different personality characteristics. In the screening of experimental materials, according to the various elements of the rhythm pattern, reference is made to the spectrum of the relevant music works, and the density of the rhythm material pronunciation points is controlled.Basic rhythm materials are composed of quarter notes, eighth notes, and sixteenth notes;Speed is 85 bpm.For beats, select 2/4 and 3/4;In terms of stress, rhythmic patterns are selected from the categorized rhythmic patterns to control the positions of long-stress accents.Reference is made to Classical period,Romantic period, modern western music works after the 20 th century, and modern and contemporary pop music such as rock music. The composition of music works such as jazz music is written into four or two beat shape squares,Four or two beat patterns are not square material, four or three beat shape squares, and four or three beat patterns are not square material, each with 20 rhythm patterns. It depends on whether the rhythm stress coincides with the location of the beat. For the test screening, the subjects were screened using the EPQ-Chen Gengzhong revised edition. The questionnaire was widely used in China and has good reliability and validity.Experiment 1 discusses whether the rhythm pattern material has experimental value and reliability analysis. The independent variable is a rhythm pattern, which is divided into four levels, namely the four or two beat shape squares,Four or two beat patterns are not square material, four or three beat shape squares, and four or three beat patterns are not square material. The variable is the type of emotional experience produced by the participant, and the intensity of the emotional experience is evaluated as experimental material validity.According to the experimental results, the materials were screened, and 10 different rhythmic morphological materials were selected as the material for experiment 2.In experiment 2,4×2 mixed experiments were performed.Discuss the influence of different types of rhythm and morphological materials on individual emotional experience, and whether different personality factors affect the individual's emotional experience, and whether there are differences. The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Four or two beats square rhythm, four or two beats are not square material, four or three beats square rhythm positive materials can all induce individual positive emotions. The arousal of emotion is obviously lower than that of the other two types;2.The four-three beats square rhythm negative material and the four or three beat patterns are not square material can induce individuals' negative emotions better, and the four-three-shot pattern is more arousal than the rhythm of irregular rhythm.3.The regular rhythm of the shape can induce the individual's positive emotions, the rhythm of the irregular shape can induce the individual's negative emotions, the four-two beat rhythm can induce the positive emotions of the participants, and the four or three beat rhythms can induce the subjects.Negative emotions;4.Extrovert personality tests were higher than neuroticism in negative mood scores offour-three-beat patterns, positive emotion scores on the four-three-beat rhythm, and negative mood scores on the four-second beat rhythm and form rhythm. For individuals, there was no difference in the scores of the two personality tests at other levels.
