Analysis And Creative Thinking Of Dong Qichang's "Xia Mu Chuyin" Picture

Studying tradition being an important part in learning Chinese painting process is the necessary condition for inheritance and development of Chinese painting as well.Reviewing the history of Chinese painting,there are constant rules known as "Reforming the institution by returning to the ancients " and "Borrowing the classical art opens now",which have embodied an enduring wisdom of Chinese history of culture.This paper takes the painting of Dong Qichang "Xia Mu Chui Yin" as an example to analyze "Retro" thoughts and specific performance in this work,thus to reveal that how Dong Qichang inherits and develops the traditional uniqueness.With the innovation of "imitation" in the pursuit of the transformation of Pen and Ink,"Combinations and Innovations" have initiated the new aesthetic paradigm since Dynasties of Song and Yuan.Through reflecting on today's landscape painting and individual creations,examining painting of classics and traditional awareness,chances being the art progress of The Times should be found in order to represent that innovation both have to be based on the tradition and inheritance critically.
