Analyze The Creation Of Minoru Miki's "Matsu No Concerto" | | Posted on:2019-03-08 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:L Shen | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2435330566479140 | Subject:School of music and dance | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The famous contemporary Japanese composer,Minuro Miki,is one of the representative creators and innovators of Japanese traditional music.1969,he and his wife recreated the “twenty strings” Zheng.Since then,he had devoted hinself to the improvement and creation of the “New Zheng”,composed many immortal zither works.<Koto Concerto No.4> was created from January to February in 1984,is also one of several widely circulated Zheng works written by Minuro Miki.It has a certain representativeness and inheritance,the influence in Japanese zither circles is profound.It is worth mentioning that this Zheng work has been loved by Chinese zither learners since it was introduced to China in recent years.In recent years,the creation of Guzheng in our country has been increasingly renovated,and the research on Japanese Zheng、New Zheng and multi-strings Zheng has been gradually increased,which has been studied and used for reference in all aspects.But mostly studies are concerned with its form、temperament andperformance skills.I think that these are important,but the music creation techniques in terms of the works themselves are also worthy of attention.China has been groping forward on the road of national music creation,and Japan has achieved a lot in this area.There are many similarities between Japanese and Chinese national instruments.Therefore,learning the successful experience of Japan is helpful for promoting the development of Chinese national instrumental music and broadening the horizon of music.In this paper,the music <Koto Concerto No.4> is studied in detail from three aspects of the Japanese cultural background 、 composition techniques and national characteristics.The thesis especially analyzes problems about the music itself like the musical structure 、 mode and tonality 、 theme development skills and timbre composition.According to the results of the research on Japanese tonal scale 、 the development of the tuning method and the melodic motive,so that make a systematic exposition of the Japanese national mode and the tuning method of Japanese zither.It also discusses the questiones about coexistence of various musical forms combined withthe traditional characteristics of Japanese music;the combination of the Japanese national mode、Western mode and the tuning of the national instrument;the orchestration in the aspect of sound balance about national instrumental music concerto in Minuro Miki’s Concerto.And the detailed musical analysis of each level of <Koto Concerto No.4> attempt to show the characteristics and ideas of the composition techniques contained therein. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Minuro Miki, <, Koto Concerto No.4 >, , musical form structure, theme melody, orchestration | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
