Study On Tiaoxi Ci

Liu Yizhi is famous literati of Nan Du period. His works is named TiaoXi Ci, which amounts to35tunes,42pieces. Most of them are excellent, but still ignored by academia. This article attempts to explore the characteristic of TiaoXi Ci. The feature of artistic conception, the types of lyrical, the structure of time and space, are all included. The value of TiaoXi Ci will be revealed by contrast with others’works. At the same time, we study TiaoXi Ci from the perspective of the entire trend. Therefore, TiaoXi Ci can get a fair and objective judgment, which will contribute to the meticulosity and clearness of the study about literati and works at Nan Du period.First, there are two kinds of important artistic conception in TiaoXi Ci, QiQing and QiMi. The blue-green color is Liu’s favorite, such as Qing, Cang and Bi. Besides, there are many clear things in TiaoXi Ci. Liu usually tells the parting feeling, which is narrow and limited. You will feel it very thin at the strength and the momentum. QiQing is completed with the effect of all the factors. On the contrary of QiQing, there are many hazy scenes in QiMi both in sight and hearing. On the other hand, it’s very hard to distinguish the object from the subject. This point has greatly improved the grade of TiaoXi Ci.Second, there are two kinds of works in TiaoXi Ci, the subjective works and the traditional ones. Some works usually begin with "I", others don’t. But both of them own distinct realization of subject. Not only are the works which imitate the "DongPo Pattern", but also the traditional ones, signs of the particularity of TiaoXi Ci.In the last chapter, we attempt to explore the structure of time and space in TiaoXi Ci. It can be differentiated into three types:time is the same but space different, both are different and the recollection type. The first type is suitable for showing the missing between lovers. The second one usually shows the reluctance to leave. The last one can be used for showing some sentimentality themes. The three types make TiaoXi Ci appear a mazy structure. This is one of the important artistic skills in TiaoXi Ci.
