The Yu Gang Zhai Mo miao is a very famous Chinese Calligraphy collection of the Ming dynasty,edited carved by Wang Ken Tang,the Jinshi of late Ming dynasty.It was completed in1611,and had a broad and deep influence on calligraphy field.But there was no special thesis to study it,making it the value and significance of long-term ignored by the people.This thesis aims to make a relatively comprehensive discussion from the following aspects of the Yu Gang Zhai Mo Miao,to show its important historical position and artistic value:The first is the origin of edit and carving of Yu Gang Zhai Mo Miao.By studying Wang Ken Tang's notes Yu Gang Bi Zhu,to further learn his in-depth knowledge,it is the unique convenience such as the superior insight,the birth of a family of official that eventually led to the success of the famous Calligraphy collection.The second is the edition Yu Gang Zhai Mo Miao.Through the points of entry Zhen Shang Jai,making the contrast of an edition of Wang Shu's annotation of national Palace Museum and an edition of Harvard University library,and at the same time,referencing literature and part of the image data,to further analysis the current edition of Yu Gang Zhai Mo Miao.The third is the research and identification of the single part of Yu Gang Zhai Mo,mainly including the situation of single part in other Chinese Calligraphy collection,and the proving of the source,circulating and authenticity of some parts.Finally,clarifying the artistic value and status in the history of Calligraphy collection and the history of Chinese calligraphy,further appealing to pay much attention to the study of the past dynasties famous scholars who is not famous for their art achievements.
