Research On Critical Practice Of Defamiliarization Theory In China

Russian formalism is probably one of the most important and influential schools of literary theories in the 20th century.It promoted the transformation of the 20th century literature theory into modernity.The representative figure Viktor Shklovsky proposed the theory of"Defamiliarization",the core theory of Russian formalism.In the eyes of the Russian formalists,make things "strange" is an process of art,increasing the difficulty of feeling and prolong the readers' feeling time.Defamiliarization theory is of great significance and value in Chinese and Western literature studies.After many centuries of change,it is still active in literary practice at all times and in all over the world.However,the Russian formalism and the theory of Defamiliarization in China did not get enough attention before "Reform and Opening Up",after decades of neglect,the theory begins to spread in our country from the end of 1980s,and receives unprecedented attention from Chinese scholars,with a lot of the Russian formalism and the main theory "the literature" and"defamiliarization" article spurn out.With the deepening of the study,scholars have also began to use this theory extensively to interpret Chinese and Western literary phenomena and Chinese and western texts,and to emerge a comparative study of Chinese and Russian formal literary theories.This article will study the process of the critical practice of defamiliarization theory in Chinese by reviewing the critical practice of Defamiliarization theory in China,analyzing and generalizing the research results,introducing the theory comprehensively,and comparing the defamiliarization theory of Russian formalism with the "novelty" in Chinese classical poetics,thus finding some valuable theoretical thinking and exploration and eventually providing inspiration and reference for the construction of contemporary Chinese literary theory and the further application of Defamiliarization theory in literary creation practice.
