| Dunhuang is the sacred spot of Chinese Buddhism art,and is also one of largest treasury of classical art in China,which is the brilliant achievement created by integration of Chinese and western on the Silk Roads.There are so many flowers patterns appeared in Dunhuang frescos,which play an important role in the aesthetics and connotations.But,former researches about Dunhuang frescos usually overlook the special effects of flowers in Buddhism paintings,which cause insufficiently exploration on this patterns.Therefore,the analysis on flowers patterns of Dunhuang frescos have significance on Chinese drawing skills in ancient time,and also have reference value to the contemporary fine brush flower-and-bird painting.Based on the problems mentioned above,this thesis serves the flowers patterns in Dunhuang frescos as main research objections.On the basis of on-the-spot investigation,reference of a large number of Dunhuang frescos art data,the art forms and characteristics of flower patterns of Dunhuang frescos in the period of Northern Wei to Yuan dynasty is analyzed,and the influence of Dunhuang flowers pattern on contemporary arts is researched.First of all,by sorting out the literature,the relationship between “flower” and the human or Buddhism is summed up.The “flower” patterns is used in both of them as the sustenance of feelings and thoughts,not just as decorations.Secondly,by analyzing the historical and cultural development of Dunhuang,the development and evolution of “flower” in Dunhuang fresco were studied.On the basis of this,the paper elaborated the difference between the form of “flower” in painting of the main Buddha statue,the painting of Buddhist storied,donator’s images and decorations.Then,the types of “flowers” and its thoughts in Dunhuang frescoes were analyzed.At the same time,the Dunhuang frescoes are analyzed from the two aspects of lines and colors.Finally,by analyzing some contemporary art works used Dunhuang “flowers” elements,this paper expounds the significance of Dunhuang art to contemporary arts.Moreover,the image of “flowers” in Dunhuang frescoes,traditional and contemporary bird-and-flower painting is compared,and the reference value of Dunhuang frescoes to contemporary art is analyzed. |
