The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of ASD children to un derstand the emotion of others,so that they can get along well with others.M ethods:set up ASD experimental group,ASD control group and Typically Dev eloping(TD)control group,matched them with age and language performance.All three groups were tested three times:pre-test,post-test and follow-up test.The pre-test and post-test were 6 weeks apart,and the tracking test was carri ed out one month after the end of the post-test.The ASD experimental group was intervened,and the ASD children were intervened by one to one courses by the fixed researchers.The intervention method adopted emotional interpreta tion training?picture book treatment and pretend play.Results:(1)In the pre-test,there was a significant difference in emotional understanding between ASD ch ildren and TD children(p=0.000),In addition,the scores of various tasks in the emotional understanding were significantly lower than that of TD children,an d there were significant differences with TD children.(2)In the task of recogni zing emotions,children with ASD had significant differences compared with T D children in the recognition of fear,sadness,human face expression and carto on expression,while there was no significant difference between happy and an gry expressions.(3)After intervention,children in the ASD experimental group showed a significantly higher score of emotional comprehension,which was sig nificantly better than those in the ASD control group without intervention.(4)Th e tracking test found that there was significant difference between the score an d the pre-test score of the ASD experimental group,and the intervention had a good maintenance effect.Conclusion:(1)The study found that ASD children had deficits in emotional comprehension,the performance was significantly low er than that of TD children in tasks of human expression recognition,cartoon expression recognition,situational emotion recognition,desire emotion understan ding and belief emotion understanding;(2)After emotional comprehension interve ntion,ASD children have improved their ability of expression recognition,situa tional emotion recognition,desire emotion understanding and belief emotion un derstanding,which are significantly better than those without intervention;(3)Thr ough data analysis and case observation,emotional interpretation training,pictur e book treatment,and pretend play can improve the overall emotional understa nding ability of ASD children.Some of the ASD children after the intervention were able to start paying attention to other people's facial expressions and em otions in their lives,show that they have learned some emotional skills.
