The Dual Deconstruction Of Mainstream Discourse And Male Discourse

As a major new genre of historical novel,women’s new historical novels have made great achievements since joining of the new historical novels in the late 1980’s.The new quality of women’s new historical novels is presented through comparison with the previous texts.Compared with male historical novels and traditional historical novels,women’s new historical novels have new artistic qualities.Focusing on the "newness" of women’s new historical novels,this article compares,summarizes and interprets the new experiences presented in the stories of women’s new historical novels,the new narrative strategies used in the narrative level,and new value orientation and aesthetic consciousness at the discourse level,based on the studying of traditional historical novels and male historical novels.This article takes a historical view of women’s new historical novels in order to present the vicissitudes and causes.The introduction of the thesis reviews on the existing research of the women’s new historical novels,and explaines the contribution and the blind spot of the female criticism.The interpretation of women’s new historical novels by gender theory can accurately grasp the literary experience created by the female writers from a gender perspective.However,fall under the banner of a theory,will inevitably lead to the blindness.The result is,in their interpretation,the "newness" of women’s historical novels is roughly equivalent to the gender experience,ignoring other sides of women’s new historical novels.It is the starting point of the study to re-explore the characteristics of female new historical novels.The main part of the paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter will start from the story level to sum up the type of experience in the text.And according to the novels,they can be further divided into three categories:female new historical novels,revolutionary historical novels and the history novels of routine life;and the second chapter focuses on text level,analysing the general and representative narrative techniques of female writers-intervened narrator;the third chapter goes into female new history novels of discourse,focusing on the contribution to women’s new historical novels,and the negative effects of excessive dependence on gender discourse.The conclusion of the thesis holds that the women’s new historical novels are the result of the new and bold change of the contemporary female writers.Influenced by the Western Feminist Trend of thought,historical literature has become the ideological enclave for women writers to reconstruct their gender experience,and the female life modality in historical dimension has been imagined by literature.At the same time,some female writers aware of the diversities of the local women’s experience,have noticed the context of revolution and daily context of local women.All in all,women’s historical novels have not only broken paradigm of the traditional historical novels and male’s historical novels,but also enriched the type of women’s literature.
