Research On The Vocabulary Of "Xiaopinfang" Cited In "Yixinfang"

Xiaopinfang is one of the most famous classic books for Chinese medicine in Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern dynasties,which is written by Chenyanzhi during Liusong dynasty.The book has great influence on the development of medicine in Jin and Tang dynasty.However,the original book has been lost in Song dynasty.For a long time,people can only know the general picture of Xiaopinfang by dint of some scattered quoted passages in several relative ancient literatures.Ishinpo,the Japanese medical masterpiece,remained a large number of quoted passages of Xiopinfang,which haven't been emended.So these quoted passages can be viewed as the ideal text for the study of the history of Chinese.The research contents of this thesis mainly include the following two aspects.Firstly,we excerpted all the quoted passages from Ishinpo,sorting out and analyzing these quoted passages,in order to set up a relatively reliable text.On the one hand,this work can establish foundation for lexical studies.On the other hand,it can support help for the later researchers who are devoted to researching Xiaopinfang.Secondly,we made a comprehensive study of the text of Xiaopinfang which have been choosen,the research contents include medical nomenclature,neologism,reduplicated words and so on.The purpose of the study is to show the overall appearance of Xiaopinfang,and offers help for the study of medical book in the middle ancient time,the study of Chinese language history and lexicography.This thesis is composed of three chapters.The Chapter 1 emphasizes the general situation about the contents of Xiaopinfang recorded in Ishinpo.First of all,making a general description of Xiaopinfang and Ishinpo,then focus on the analysis of the Xiaopinfang quoted passages cited by Inshinpo,and concludes that the quotations are divided into types,including the direct quotations and the indirect quotations,with a total of 481.The Chapter 2 pays attention to the general lexical features of Xiaopinfang recorded in Ishinpo.From the perspective of professional,colloquial,age,we combined with the specific examples,and pointed out that the vocabulary ofXiaopinfang both have general characteristics of mediaeval Chinese and the unique characteristics of medical language.The Chapter 3 mainly analyses the vocabulary system of Xiaopinfang recorded in Ishinpo.This chapter includes four parts:the study of neologisms,quantifiers,reduplicated words,special words,which is aimed to make a comprehensive study.We try our best to provide some supplements in those unprepared aspects on the basis of previous studies,and focus on explaining some characteristic words,to reveal the value of the study of Chinese language history.
