An Experimental Study On The Influence Of Education And Training On The Aggressive Behavior Of Narcissistic Groups | | Posted on:2019-07-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Z Q Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2435330548466791 | Subject:Applied Psychology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | In recent years,research on the relationship of narcissism and aggressive behavior has gradually increased.Aggressive behavior play a important role in adolescent health.But the study of such topic is very rare.To further understand its internal mechanism,verify the potential impact of narcissism on aggressive behavior.This paper uses a hybrid design of 2(high narcissism group vs.low narcissism group)×2(critical situation vs.commendation situation)to verify this by the experiment 1.In the experiment,we measured the level of threat cognition,anger and hostile attribution,and analyzed their role in the relationship between narcissistic and aggressive behaviors by statistical methods,so as to prepare for the intervention.The results of Experiment 1 showed that highly narcissistic subjects were more likely to feel self threat in the critical situation,and they were more likely to generate aggressive behaviors by the mediating role of three cognitive factors,namely,threatening cognition,anger and hostility.The conclusion of experiment 1 is in agreement with the experimental results at home and abroad.The final purpose of this paper is the experimental interventions to reduce the aggressive behavior of narcissism groups,so in the second experiment,high narcissism group were divided into intervention group and non intervention group,the intervention group received education intervention and non intervention group received intervention as the control group,to observe the experimental results,obtain the effect of intervention.The results showed that the experimental group receiving educational intervention showed a trend of less aggressive behavior than the control group who did not receive educational intervention,and the difference was significant.In order to obtain the effective specific content of education and training and make choices for the future intervention program,the paper compares the measured narcissism and threat perception,anger and hostile attribution difference before and after,finds that cognitive threat did play a significant role,interventions of narcissism,anger and hostile attribution have good effects.This is the first study of intervention in narcissistic groups at home and abroad.It can not only reduce the possible aggressive behavior of the group,but also improve individual mental development and promote healthy development of individuals.At the same time,the effectiveness of the intervention results can provide some theoretical support and technical guidance for the follow-up intervention research. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Narcissism, aggression, education training | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
