Classroom teaching evaluation is an indispensable part of classroom teaching activities.It has the functions of guiding teaching,regulating teaching process,diagnosing teaching problems,providing feedback information and testing teaching effects.Classroom teaching evaluation language is the main way of teachers’ teaching evaluation.It is the classroom embodiment of teachers’ professional quality,an important carrier of building harmonious teacher-student relationship,and an important guarantee for improving classroom teaching efficiency.Primary English is a subject with an instrumental and humanistic discipline in the structure of primary school curriculum.It has a certain degree of particularity.In the classroom teaching of primary English,how is the teacher’s classroom teaching evaluation language used? What kind of problems exist? What are the reasons? How to optimize teacher’s classroom teaching evaluation language? This is the main purpose of this study and research ideas.The author adopts literature research method,interview method,classroom observation method and case analysis method to conduct a field survey on the use of classroom teaching evaluation language of primary school English teachers.The research contents mainly include the explicit purpose of classroom teaching evaluation language for primary English teacher;targeting of classroom teaching evaluation language for primary English teachers;flexibility of classroom teaching evaluation language for primary school English teachers;enrichment of classroom English teaching assessment language for primary school English teachers;and encouragement of classroom English teaching evaluation language for elementary school English teachers,etc.Through the survey,it is found that the usage of evaluation language for primary school English teachers in classroom teaching is not ideal.The important reasons for the unsatisfactory phenomenon include the limitation of teacher’s classroom teaching evaluation view,the limitation of teacher’s teaching evaluation language art,and lack of management of teacher’s classroom teaching evaluation language in schools.Some reasons like those make a few problems,including the orientation of classroom teaching evaluation language for primary English teachers has been lost;the pertinence of classroom teaching evaluation language for primary English teachers needs to be improved;the flexibility of classroom teaching evaluation language for primary English teachers is generally insufficient;and the enrichment of classroom teaching evaluation language for primary English teachers needs to be improved,and the motivation of classroom teaching evaluation language for primary English teachers needs to be corrected.Based on the above reasons,the author put forward three optimization countermeasures.First,teachers should establish a people-oriented education concept,highlightthe students’ main status,adopt multiple evaluation methods to form a scientific and comprehensive evaluation of classroom teaching.Second,teachers should constantly temper their own teaching evaluation language,and enhance the artistic quality of classroom teaching evaluation language by strengthening the incentive,richness,pertinence and flexibility of teaching evaluation language.Thirdly,schools should incorporate teachers’ classroom teaching evaluation language into teachers’ teaching assessment and arrange related training to strengthen the management of teachers’ classroom teaching evaluation language.
