In front of the greater demand and more diversified aspects for Chinese language learning,the Chinese language teaching urgently need to be expanded and enriched in spite of in theory or practice.Sociocultural theory got the decisive position in second language acquisition,so it is significant for guiding international Chinese teaching and improving the teaching efficiency.In the form of questionnaire and comparative analysis,the author studied the application situations of sociocultural theory in international Chinese teaching by taking the Sociocultural theory which from Vygotsky,the psychologist of the former Soviet Union as the theoretical support and taking the research about international Chinese teaching of Chiangrai-Phayao area as point of penetration.By classifying statistics and analyzing the results synthetically,the author hold that it is propitious to improve efficiency of learning Chinese and the level of students' Chinese by applying sociocultural theory in international Chinese teaching.Based on that,the author proposed the practical suggestions and revelations.The whole paper consists of seven parts:The chapter one mainly introduce the reasons and significance of this paper,research objective,methods and research status in second language acquisition and teaching of sociocultural theory.The chapter two is the theoretical basis of this topic which introduce the correlative theories of sociocultural theory-Mediation theory,Activity theory,Internalization theory and The zone of proximal development and the relation between sociocultural theory and international Chinese teaching.The chapter three introduces the participants,instruments and process of this study.The participants include Chinese volunteer teachers and the university students who have studied Chinese more than two semesters(without two semesters)in Chiangrai-Phayao area;The questionnaires of application research of sociocultural theory in international Chinese teaching originated from referencing to others' questionnaire and combining with the practical requirements of this study.It includes the teachers' and students' questionnaires.In order to avoid misunderstanding,the students' questionnaire adopted the version of Thai language.The chapter four mainly aimed at classifying statistics of recycling questionnaires.The chapter five did a systematic theoretical analysis based on the results of questionnaires.The chapter six proposed the suggestions and revelations on the basis of classification and theoretical analysis to results.The conclusion elaborated academic significance and innovation of this study.Besides,it summarized the whole paper and pointed out the deficiencies and things which need to be improved.
