Wang Juchang has become a very important scholarly calligrapher in the history of modem calligraphy with his deep culture,the unique breakthrough made in Zhangcao,and the strong individual appearance of elegant and peculiar.Wang Juchang's Zhangcao originated from Quicksand Bamboo Slips of the Han Dynasty,he not only traced back to the ZhuanLi of Qin and Han Dynasties but also Chinese script before the Qin Dynasty,which is different from Song Ke and other cursive scholars under the influence of Zhangcao;At the same time,he learning from the more ancient forms of fonts that have disappeared,such as Tianzhuan and Miuzhuan,as well as the Talisman mentioned in this article,makes his peculiar of Zhangcao different from other calligraphers.His cursive represent a new creative way From Zhuan to Cao,which is the embodiment of scholarly calligrapher's reversion to the old.The first chapter is the introduction.The second chapter depict the background of the formation of Wang Juchang,s cursive style which mainly describes its historical background,family origins and the development of Zhang Cao.The third chapter focuses on Wang Juchang's learning experience,so as to understand the influence on the formation of his calligraphy.The fourth chapter analysis about Wang Juchang's cursive style and the impact from Talisman.The fifth chapter summarizes Wang Juchang's calligraphic ideas and comments from others.The sixth chapter summarizes the enlightenment brought by Wang Juchang's cursive,which represent a profound meaning for the present literary world by it'5 literacy,View of history,and modernity.Based on this understanding,this article try to organize Wang Juchang's historical background,academic situations,and family origins elaborately.Here presented his thoughts on rubbings fusion and the attitude of trace sources elaborately,which impacted by the former generation calligraphers especially Shen Zengzhi and Kang Youwei.This article mainly focus on the following aspects:Zhuanzhou Qi in Wang Juchang's calligraphy,the impact from ancient writing and how the stippling space was generated form his cursive script.The result was that the depth of literacy was of significance for calligraphy,especially reveals the possibility of discovering "modernity" from the traditional interior.
