The Language Study Of Linfen's Folk Songs

Folk ballads are one of the forms of oral literature,which are usually recited,inherited and spread in local dialects.Only reading by dialect,can we appreciate the charm of ballads and experience local folk customs.Linfen--Yaodu,has a long history and has preserved a large number of folk ballads.This paper study the collected 1483 pieces of folk songs in Linfen area from the perspective of linguistics,sociolinguistics,ontology linguistics,dialectology and folklore theory,using the method of literature,field investigation,descriptive induction and data analysis to reveal the language features of Linfen folk ballads in terms of rhythm,vocabulary and rhetoric to explore the influence of Linfen Dialect on folk ballads,which aims to better carry forward the culture of Yaodu.There are six parts in present study which includes introduction and conclusion.In introduction,it mainly introduces the origin and significance of the topic selection,the general situation of domestic ballad linguistics research,the general situation of folk art research in Shanxi,the general situation of folk art research in Linfen,and illustrates the source of corpus,theoretical basis and research methods.Chapter one outlines the situation of Linfen and Linfen dialects and folk ballads.It mainly includes the geographical position,historical evolution and the cultural situation of Linfen,the situation of Linfen dialect and the definition and classification of Linfen folk ballads.Chapter two analyses the rhyme and rhythm characteristics of the folk songs in Linfen.In terms of rhyme,its rhyme is in shape of sentence-sentence rhyme and rhymed heroic couplet in one section.In more sections,its rhyme is mainly in shape of same form and rhyme,which indicates that Linfen folk ballads adhere to the features of verse.In terms of syntactical structure,it is mainly in the form of five-character,seven-character and eight-character.And its rhythm is mainly in shape of 2+3 beat,4+3 beat and 5+3 beat.Chapter three analyses the characteristics of the words of the folk ballads in Linfen.Words in eclipsed form,the number of ABB type and AA type are in majority.The ABB type is typical in nursery rhymes and love songs.The number of padding syllables is also in majority which mainly includes modal particle and interjection that appeared in the end of sentences to adjust the rhythm.The characteristics Linfen dialect words appeared in the folk ballads are enumerated according to the semantic category and the diet and action dialect words are the most distinctive.Chapter four analyses the characteristics of the use of rhetoric in Linfen folk ballads,and the single use of rhetoric is the most important way of application.In single use of rhetoric,antithesis and parallelism are two important kinds of rhetoric.In dual use of the rhetoric,antithesis and contrast are two widely used rhetoric.In indiscriminate use of rhetoric,other rhetorics are more used indiscriminately in arrangement.Finally,present study analyzes the situation of integrated use of dual use of rhetoric and indiscriminate use of rhetoric.The conclusion mainly summarizes the main content of the paper,hackles the thinking of writing,and points out the innovation and deficiency of present study.
