Wang Guoweiyang's Five Dynasties Suppressed The Southern Song Ci Theory And Its Reasons

As the most famous scholars in modern China,Wang Guo Wei has a lofty position in the history of Chinese academic history.His 'Ren Jian Ci Hua' created in the beginning of the 20th century is the most famous poetry-words copyright,which is also possessing a high status in modern Chinese literary criticism history,and the impact of this work spreads various fields such as literature,philosophy and aesthetics and so on.In this thesis,we'll start from the concept of Wang GuoWei's stylistic evolution,and the development of Ci can be divided into three stages(the Five Dynasty,the Northern Song Dynasty,the Southern Song Dynasty)according to the standpoint of Wang Guo Wei in "Ren Jian Ci Hua".analyze the three stages of the development of Ci and Wang GuoWei's understanding of the three stages.We'll regard the three stages as the global background,analyze Wang Guo Wei's praise and criticism attitude of each stages,in the meantime,select the most representative and controversial Ci-writer in each era,analyze the reasons of Wang Guo Wei 's attitude of praise and criticism by the mixed method,sequentially,analyze Wang GuoWei's Ci-theory reflected by this attitude of praise and criticism.This thesis is mainly divided into five parts,in the introduction,the paper mainly states the research status of the topic selection,the research method of this paper,the theoretical significance of the topic selection,and the possible academic value.The first chapter is pandect,which bases point on Wang GuoWei's stylistic evolution concept(literary form is thriving in the beginning and declining in the end generally),teases the Ci-theory of 'Ren Jian Ci Hua'.The development of Ci can be divided into three stages,we'll states differently Wang GuoWei's comments and preferences about the three stages,and select the most representative Ci-writer of each era to demonstrate.Based on Wang Guo Wei's standpoint in "Ren Jian Ci Hua",we'll demonstrate Wang GuoWei's preference to Ci in Five Dynasty represented by Wen TingYun?WeiZhuang?Feng YanSi and LiYu,Wang GuoWei's admire to Ci in Northern Song Dynasty represented by YanShu?Ou YangXiu?SuShi and QinGuan,Wang GuoWei's criticism to Ci in Southern Song Dynasty represented by JiangKui?Wu WenYing?ZhangYan and Shi DaZu.The second chapter mainly analyses why Wang GuoWei praise highly Ci in theFive Dynasty,Wang Guo Wei is obvious preference to Ci in the Five Dynasty,he pours a large amount of ink into Ci-writer in Five Dynasty in "Ren Jian Ci Hua",especially carries the Ci-writer LiYu and Feng YanSi on high praise.This part analyses this phenomenon,and analyze whether the achievement of the two person reaches the height which Wang Guo Wei praise represented by Feng YanSi and LiYu,the reason why Wang Guo Wei speak highly of them,and Wang GuoWei's theory reflected by his attitude.The third chapter mainly analyses Wang Guo Wei 's denigration of the Ci-writer in southern song dynasty,he negated the Ci in southern song dynasty entirely,he criticize the Ci in Southern Song Dynasty from different angles,his criticism for JiangKui is full of controversy constantly.In this part,we'll analyze Wang GuoWei's comment represented by JiangKui and combine Wu WengYing?ZhangYan and Shi DaZu,analyze the reason why he belittle the Ci in Southern Song Dynasty and the Ci-theory reflected by this attitude of criticism.In the fourth chapter,we mainly discuss the reason why Wang Guo Wei praise the Ci in Five Dynasty highly and belittle the Ci in Southern Song Dynasty.He admired greatly Ci in Five Dynasty which is in early-stage,but don't like Ci in the mature period of Southern Song Dynasty because of his concept of stylistic evolution.This chapter mainly analyzes the reasons of Wang GuoWei's Ci-theory from four aspects,the influence of his own misfortunes experience and the social environment on his literary view;the influence of western philosophy and literary theory,such as Nietzsche's theory of power will,Schopenhauer's tragic view,Kant's uninterested aesthetics and game theory:the luxuriousness ethos in Qing Dynasty,they mainly imitates Ci-writer in Southern Song Dynasty because of the ruler 's cultural policy,such as the genre of ZheXi.ChangZhou and four famous author in the late Qing Dynasty,Wang Guo Wei 's theory may be aim to correct the unhealthy ethos;the influence of his subjective aesthetic idea,such as his rigid argument,appreciate genius and neglect imitation,preference to the works which has the tragedy consciousness,and his own subjective aesthetic choice and the like.In the concluding part,we'11 summarize the research methods and practice of this paper,as well as Wang GuoWei's system of Ci-theory and critical features.
