The Frame Structure "following V1 With V2" Is Studied

"Sui V1 sui V2" is a common frame structure in modern Chinese,consisting of the invariant term "sui" and the verbal variable term V1 and V2.The structure has various forms,flexible syntactic functions and rich meanings,but previous studies on it are few and far from enough.On the basis of previous studies,the paper makes a deep study on structural characteristic,syntactic function,structural meaning,semantic choice,context analysis and so on.In terms of structure,the function of the time adverb is expressed by the combination of two invariant items "sui" and the variable V1 and V2 are verbs or verb phrases in "Sui V1 sui V2".There are six kinds about syllables combination of V1 and V2 and four kinds about grammatical combinations of V1 and V2.The form types of "Sui V1 sui V2" include basic type and variable type,and variable type includes extended type and thimble type.In syntactic function,"Sui V1 sui V2" act as not only the subject,predicate,object,attributive,adverbial and so on,but also a clause in the compound sentence,and it can also be a single sentence in some special contexts.In terms of structure meaning,the original meaning of "Sui V1 sui V2" is that a successively close relationship between two actions.On the basis of original meaning,three non-original meaning that the meaning of relation,the relationship between conditions and the meaning of the purpose are derived;at the same time,the structure also derives a infiltration meaning under the effect of meaning infiltration and economic principles.In terms of semantic choice,action verb,pure directional verb,behavioral mental verb and atypical verb can freely enter the structure of "Sui V1 sui V2";compound directional verbs,state mental verbs,typical enable verbs,auxiliaries,judgmental verbs and formal verbs can not enter the structure.Existential verbs and partial atypical adjectives can enter the structure of "Sui VI sui V2";A existential verbs can only act as V2 instead of V1,B and C existential verbs are free to act as V1 and V2,and some of the atypical adjectives can only act as VI instead of V2.Typical predicate phrase,typical predicate phrase,typical conjunction-predicate phrase,typical phrase in the form,and typical concurrently phrase can enter the structure,and typical subject predicate phrase and the verb joint phrase can not generally enter the structure.In terms of context analysis,first of all,with specific context,the paper analyzes the correlation between V1 and V2 and concludes it into five categories:V1 and V2 are the same agent,V1 and V2 are the same object,the agent of V1 is the object of V2,the object of V1 is the agent of V2,and the agent of V1 is the recipient of V2.Then,with specific context,we analyzed the pragmatic features of "Sui V1 sui V2" from the stylistic distribution and subjectivity and the structure shows strong popularity and colloquial style and is characterized by exaggeration and praise on the subjectivity.
