Fei Tian is the god of Buddhist Heaven.It originated from India and passed to Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang.During the period from the North dynasty to the Sui and Tang dynasties,mogao grottoes were diversified and developed,and finally completed the process of sinicization,feminization,song and dance and more standard stylization.This paper analyzes the style of flying sky image in murals of mogao grottoes and classifies it as four representative schemas,namely,flying sky with "flag band,waist bend","Lotus band,belly bulge","round arc band,knee bend" and "streamer band,chest part bend bend" flying sky,and explores the origin of its forming style.The article is expounded in five parts.The first part,based on the records of Buddhist books,summarizes the image of Zhannaro and Zhennaro in India.In the second part,the author combs the classification of flying sky and the evolution of flying sky modeling between Han and Tang dynasties.In the third part,four kinds of flying sky patterns in murals of Mogao grottoes are discussed.The characteristics of four flying sky schemas in Mogao Grottoes were compared with those in other parts of China in order to make clear its development and change.The fourth part,the cloud pattern and the change generation are the indispensable elements in the flying sky schema of Mogao Grottoes,revealing its intrinsic relationship with the flying sky schema.The fifth part,to Mogao Grottoes flying sky and the relationship between the South dynasty flying sky.The fifth part,to Mogao Grottoes flying sky and the relationship between the South dynasty flying sky.In order to make clear how high grottoes flying sky is selective absorption of external factors,fusion of local culture to form a unique style of the process.
