The Modeling Expression And The Use Of Pen And Ink Language In The Creation Of "Waterside Light Rain"

The pen-and-ink in Chinese painting is a form basis of modelling performance.The traditional image and form of pen and ink need constant development and transformation to meet the needs of modern Chinese painting creation.We need to find effective corresponding ways,with our own pen and ink language to sum up and innovate the past experience.The creation of my own landscape painting shows a moist,elegant,brushy and emotive picture,which is the most characteristic expression of my painting.Therefore,this essay focuses on my own practice and analyzes my own experience in creation.The essay is divided into four chapters:the first chapter establishes the selection of the works"Light Rain in the Pavilion" and exemplifies the works of contemporary artists,interprets and analyzes their characteristics,and the influences on my painting style.The second chapter is my creation in partial processing,from modeling and composition,elaborates on the similarities and differences between self-expression and traditional pen-and-ink representations.The third chapter deals with the use of pen-and-ink language in the creation of paintings,from the aspects of mastering the characteristics of painting tools and ink performance.And I give my own understanding and perspective.Finally,I sum up the inspiration for continuing to create in the future.
