The Application Of The Shunju-driven Strategy In The Practice Of Simulated Simultaneous Interpretation In The British Documentary "Chinese New Year"

In recent years,scholars both at home and abroad have done a lot of studies of the principle of syntactic linearity in simultaneous interpretation.However,there is still not enough research on the application of syntactic linearity in simultaneous interpretation.By using the methods of studying literature and observing the examples of simultaneous interpretation,this report analyzes the application of syntactic linearity in the practice of the simultaneous interpretation of the English documentary Chinese New Year.The writer summarizes the difficulties of attributive clause,adverbial clause,comparative degree,passive voice,formal subject it and prepositions & and prepositional phrases when using syntactic linearity in the practice of simultaneous interpretation of Chinese New Year and provides the coping strategies of segmentation,transformation,addition&repetition,prediction and flexible methods.In this era,with the rapid development of multimedia,TV simultaneous interpretation gradually began to prosper.However,domestic and foreign scholars rarely analyze documentaries in the study of the principle of syntactic linearity.The corpora in this report comes from the documentary by the BBC in 2016.It is both time-sensitive and authentic.This report discusses the principles and the cases of syntactic linearity,in the hope that this report can provide guidance for the practice of simultaneous interpretation.
