In the first ten years of twentieth Century,B a c ????u??????????(Kandinsky)opened the beginning of Western abstractart from the two aspects of practice and theory,which completely subvertthe traditional Western painting and open a new field of painting.More than100 years have passed,the abstract painting through the development ofdifferent stages such as Abstract Geometry,Abstract Expressionism,Minimalism,who has withdrawn from the mainstream art form with the emergenceof Postmodernism,but it still has a strong vitality and is a powerful meansfor artists to express themselves freely.This article compares the different backgrounds of the development ofart in China and the West,the author analyzes how the representativeartists in each stage of abstract art history carry out the ultimateexpression of the individual through abstract art from different angles.Atlast,this article expounds how to try to express on oneself in creation,that is in my practice of abstract painting,I choose pencil sketch in sucha way to carry out the practice and explore of the abstract painting.Startingfrom the advantages of the body to show the hidden meaning of the body onlythrough paint brush,and propose that the paint brush is an important partof the formal.
